A COMMENT ON CO-DEPENDENCE

This little (360cm x 620cm) comment continues a larger series where i use the image of a homeless dog – a metaphor of a true political animal, also coming back to the idea of fused beings (appeared here and there), unbreakable Siamese unities, which doubles your abilities on one hand but takes your independence on another. In Helsinki in 2013 we held a brief version of a seminar with two old-school street-art crews one – local, another one is from St-Petrsburg. We’ve arranged a tournament in sumo-like wrestling. The only thing – we’ve tightened participants ankles, wrists, knees, and chests, to make them co-dependant. Out of that session the images of fused bodies pushing each other out came.
